NBA LIVE 14 Gets Some New PlayStation 4 Screens

Nipping at the heels of its competitor, the EA Sports camp released a new batch of NBA LIVE 14 screens. The newest delivery features players from the Cavaliers, Magic and Heat. What’s more important is that these images are being showcased on the PlayStation 4.

One of the most impressive screens has to be the featured image [above]. We all know the biggest move for a next-gen console has to be the graphics, right? In this case you will see fine details, such as sneaker scuffs on the hardwood floor and active lighting. The key is one of the most trafficked areas on the basketball court. Leaving such an area unblemished would be like not having tire-streaks on a drifting roundabout.

Delving into the aesthetics of the game, we also see a wide-angle arena shot of Madison Square Garden and its inhabitants.

While most of the images are impressive, some of the up-close shots of players are not. For a good comparison, check out these side-by-side shots from NBA 2K14. It looks like NBA LIVE 14 has some big b-ball shoes to fill after being gone from the game for so long.

NBA LIVE 14 is slated to launch on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 19, 2013. Check out the official site for all game details.
