The Russian developer Dinosaurum Games have announced they are developing a new PlayStation 4 exclusive game called Without Memory which is expected to be released sometime in 2016.
So far the game is still in its concept phase but it will be an “interactive thriller” built on the Unreal 4 engine. The story will be about an ordinary girl who wakes up in a forest with no memories. The player’s actions will affect the plot and there will be over ten different endings.
Arkady Kulikov, founder of the studio said that the game is inspired by the likes of Beyond: Two Souls though he hopes that Without Memory will allow the players to change the game through their actions in more radical ways. He also wants the game to be world class and he believes his team is up for the job. Kulikov also said that he has the resources to make the game as stunning as any other game released in 2016.
The game will feature a semi open world, a third person perspective and use of the touch pad for certain actions. The PS4 was chosen because Kulikov believes it is the best console to “make a breakthrough in graphics and animation.”
So far Dinosaurum have released a bunch of concept art to give us an idea on what the game might be like. Supposedly we’ll see real screenshots this summer.
