New Red Faction Game Coming Next Year

THQ has announced a new Red Faction game, this time aptly named Armageddon.The game will be developed by long time Red Faction developer Volition and will continue the story on Mars. You will play as Darius Mason and you will, of course, be tasked with saving humanity. The game will take place in underground mines, and you’ll explore everything from ice caves to lava rivers in a bid to save the future of Mars.The game will use the Geo-Mod 2.0 technology and promises to show off “never-before-seen physics-based weaponry that redefines gameplay in the shooter genre” according to the press release. More destruction then…?And the studio’s not forgotten about forging abilities either.
