The trailer description explains the differences between the ‘V-Rally Cross’ and ‘Buggy’ races:

While V-Rally Cross races are intense battles with 7 other racers on tracks with a mix of dirt and asphalt; buggies offer a different driving experience on, particularly hazardous and spectacular courses.

These are just two of the racing disciplines that will be included in V-Rally 4. The others are Rally, Extreme-Khana, and Hillclimb.

V-Rally 4 will be racing onto PC and consoles in September 2018.
