With only eight days until the game is revealed people are starting to question what will be revealed. Most are expecting the sequel to the 2010 entry for the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Many small hints have also backed up the likelihood of the next entry being Black Ops 2.

With all the commotion going on about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 how well will the next entry go down. Modern Warfare 3 sales have currently slowed down to a pace that the previous entry was above this time last year.

Having gone up against Battlefield 3 and seen a large number of consumers also purchase DICE’s modern shooter, will their next entry see the usual assured high sales the series has grown comfortable with or has the series genuinely started going into decline? Only time will tell when the game releases, no doubt at some point this November as all the other recent entries have.

Remeber to check back on May 1st for all the details on the next Call of Duty game!
