Next Fallout: New Vegas DLC will follow a big patch

Before the next slice of DLC is released for Fallout: New Vegas (strongly rumoured to be ‘Honest Hearts’,) Bethesda and Obsidian will be providing a new, major patch.
Over at the Bethesda forums, producer Jason Bergman has been outlining what Mojave Wanderers can look forward to.
An announcement about DLC will be “coming very soon, we promise,” and work on the next segment is said to be complete.

However, the team has also been working on a fresh patch which should have “fixed a great deal of the crashes and lockups that people were experiencing.” This has been handed off to the various platform authorities for checking, so should be released “in the next couple of weeks” for Xbox 360 and PS3. PC owners should expect it sooner.
If you’re still on the fence about getting hold of Dead Money, the first installment of New Vegas DLC, why not have a read of my review.
