Nintendo Announces 2013 Earnings, Loss Despite Positive Income

Nintendo has revealed earnings for the year 2013, starting April and ending December. Overall, they made money but are still reporting a loss. Operating income is a loss of 1,578 million yen, net sales is at 499,120 million yen, ordinary income is at 55,566 million yen, and net income is at 10,195 million yen. We’ll learn more in their earnings report tomorrow, but it is expected that they will be attributing expenses on research and development, among others, for the loss.
