Nioki Adventure announced for 360 and PC

French developer Bidogames has revealed Nioki Adventure, a title they hope will match Terraria-like multiplayer exploration and construction with an RPG-style quest system. As you can see from the images bookending this piece, the game is opting for a 2D sidescrolling perspective (again, like Terraria).
RPG ‘traits’ and a skill tree are promised, as well as certain quests and missions which require co-operation to fully accomplish (so you won’t spend all your time in multiplayer bashing each other). It seems that players will take the roles of giant eye-creatures, much like the one from Monsters Inc.
There’s no release date as yet for Nioki Adventure (as it seems quite early in development), but platforms have been confirmed as Xbox 360 and PC.
Players are encouraged to submit ideas for the title at the official site. “Quests, items, crafting … any idea is appreciated!” say the developers.
