Diablo 3 Feature

As the weeks have rolled on and the end of the year is nearly upon us,  the chance of a Diablo 3 PvP release has been slowly fading away. We had hoped Blizzard would get the feature out the door for some festive slaughter but we should have known better.

Blizzard’ Jay Wilson hit his Twitter account to confirm that PvP will not make it this year, even in Beta test form it seems. A planned PvP blog update was teased a few weeks ago but it appears that may not even make it for 2012.

We are not likely to post a PVP update until the end of the month. Note: that is not a promise. That’s all I’ll say about that.

This is why we don’t like to give dates. When you put quality before deadlines sometimes you’re estimates are wrong.

Jay Tweeted earlier this month to say that “complications had arisen” which has forced a delay. There was hope that some PvP update, whether in game or word form, would come from the Blizzard camp in 2012. PvP action in 2013 perhaps?
