No Man's Sky

Hello Games continue to work on the much-troubled No Man’s Sky, announcing today that a new patch called Path Finder will be coming soon. A little more accurately, they say this update will be “this week”.

The main thing mentioned in the statement is the addition of “a new vehicle that will aid home planet exploration”. That sounds like a land-based vehicle, although I suppose it could also hover above the surface or something.

In the announcement, the studio say they were “surprised and excited” by the response to their prior Foundation update. Work on Path Finder has apparently been informed by these responses, and will “hint at a path ahead for the future” for No Man’s Sky.
