No Man’s Sky patch 1.3 released yesterday and has been doing rather well with increased sales for the game and more positive review scores on Steam. A quick patch has now been pushed live on Steam.

Today a new patch has been released which may address any issues that are causing the game to crash including accessing the galactic map, pinning tech, or saving the game. Good to see Hello Games are on the case with this because a lot of new players will have picked the game up thanks to the price drop on Steam.

- Fixed an issue causing some players to crash when accessing the galactic map while having too many waypoints active
- Fixed a crash some players experience when pinning certain tech
- Fixed a crash which occurs when players with particularly long play-throughs attempt to save the game
- Fixed an issue that sometimes resulted in guild missions not crediting correctly
