No mod support for Battlefield 4. No huge surprise

Battlefield 4

DICE have been throwing around the same comments when it comes to modding Battlefield 4 as they did prior to the release of Battlefield 3.

Once again DICE has stated that they are interested in the idea of modding, and talking to PCGamer today DUCE general manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson  added: “We also would like to see more player-created content, but we would never do something like this if we feel we couldn’t do this 100 percent”.

This is the same line that was used prior to the Battlefield 3 release where they said that they would only provide mod support if they could do it “really well”.

So when will they be ready to embrace a modding community? According to DICE it’s “something they are thinking about for the future” and that modding is “definitely one of the areas that we have been discussing quite a bit”.

The bottom line is that BF4 players will not be able to mod this new BF and they’ll will just have to live with that until DICE decide they have all the correct tools available to players.

Time DICE pulled the finger out I think.
