No New Half-Life For 2010?

Half-Life 2: Episode Three may not be appearing this year. The news from GameInformer (via CinemaBlend) is that there will not be a new Half-Life game released in 2010.We’re not entirely surprised, being that we haven’t heard anything about the title in quite some time, but if this is true it’s disappointing nonetheless. We’ve dropped Valve a line and we’ll let you know if we get a response.Valve’s plan to make more regular – but episodic – content has clearly not been going well, considering Half-Life 2 launched in 2004, Episode One in 2006, and Episode Two in 2007, with little on Episode Three announced since then barring some concept art.Valve is currently hard at work on Episode Three, a Portal sequel, and yet more Team Fortress 2 content. And probably Left 4 Dead 3, 4, and 5.
