Night Dive Studios has filed for the trademarks for the No One Lives Forever games, which includes The Operative, Contract J.A.C.K. and A Spy in H.A.R.M.’s Way.

This is the first time we’ve heard about the IP’s ownership status since Activision revealed that they no longer had the rights as of last year.

Night Dive Studios is one of a few studios who’s made a business of republishing old games on PC via Steam and GOGcom, so we expect that this is a few steps removed of the NOLF games resurfacing on either or both platforms soon.
