Here Are Your Nominees For The 2018 Game Awards

The Game Awards 2018

Once more, The Game Awards is winding up to hand out recognition to the great games that have released this year. That is when it’s not playing ads while handing out said awards behind a curtain. Show organizers today revealed all the nominees for The Game Awards 2018.

To no one’s surprise, the top contenders for the Game of the Year are console games. Both God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the games most likely to duke it out over the shiny trophy. But Spider-Man shouldn’t be counted out just yet. The other games vying for the gold are Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Celeste — the latter of which is a welcome surprise. I love seeing indie games get some recognition.

As per the norm, you can vote for each category at the Game Awards Website. Of course, you don’t only have to vote for games. Esports has a few categories, including best team, coach, and moment. The Trending Gamer nomination has been replaced by Content Creator of the Year.

The show goes live on Twitch and YouTube on Thursday, December 6, starting at 5:30 PST. Here’s a map for all air times.
