NPD: Industry’s Best Ever November Sales

NPD has revealed the latest videogame industry sales figures in the US which show that November 2010 was the best November ever thanks to the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Microsoft’s Kinect.
The report shows that sales reached $2.99 billion in November which was up 8 percent on last year when sales of $2.76 billion were reached. The previous record was in 2008 and this November improved on that by around $30 million.
Black Ops has now become the seventh best selling game of all time reaching sales of 8.7 million units to date. The game accounted for 25% of all videogame sales during November.
