resident evil 7

A new set of Nvidia drivers, GeForce 378.49, have been released today for (among other things) Resident Evil 7 and the upcoming Conan Exiles. To get them, download through GeForce Experience or fiddle about with the various search parameters on this page.

These drivers can reportedly give a pretty decent boost to Resident Evil 7 performance on some Nvidia cards, so they’re worth a try if you’re looking to get the most out of that game. Our own look at the PC version found it to run pretty well on a 970; but perhaps some of the top end Shadow issues Tim ran into will be addressed by this driver.

378.49 is also recommended by Nvidia for use with Conan Exiles (in Early Access at the end of this month), and the For Honor closed beta which begins on 26 January.
