Obsidian Is Working On Pillars of Eternity 2

CEO Feargus Urqhard revealed in an interview with Gamepressure that Obsidian is starting work on Pillars of Eternity 2. While he did not announced it in an official way, he pretty much confirmed what most people think about the scenario of having a follow-up to the great Pillars of Eternity.

“Eternity 2 is not announced,” Urquhart says, “but it seems silly for me not to acknowledge it, though. If someone asks, ‘Are you working on it?’, I respond, ‘Well, wouldn’t you work on it?’. So then they say, ‘So you must be working on it’, and then I’m like, ‘Well, yeah.'”

Urquhart also disclosed that Obsidian might have to return to crowdfunding for Pillars of Eternity 2, which sounds a little bit weird after witnessing the success of the first game.

Obsidian is currently working on Tyranny, another very interesting project that will also come on PC later this year. It’s a pretty busy year for Obsidian and we are hoping to hear more about Turanny and Pillars of Eternity 2 in the next weeks.
