Obsidian hint there might be something revealed soon

In a cryptic tweet today, Obsidian thought it would be useful to remind us about all the game they have made. This post concludes with “???” which indicates they may be ready to announce something soon.

Looking over their list there’s plenty of solid games that have come from Obsidian but what will it be next? Something completely new or the continuation of a franchise? Although Obsidian developed the games, they don’t have the rights to create new games based on some of the IPs without permission. Fallout (Bethesda) and Alpha Protocol (SEGA) jump out as falling into that category.

We’ll have to hang on until there’s some concrete news and we’ll let you know they decide to reveal something new.

There was this little nod/potential hint – https://twitter.com/obsidian/status/659784786479738880?lang=en My hope and dream come true would be a Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines sequel or spiritual successor. IMHO, Obsidian would be the ideal developer to create an incredible RPG that would do VTMB/WoD justice. I’d also be intrigued to see what CD Projekt RED could come up with using the WoD universe in an RPG.

We have Wasteland 2 and not too far off Wasteland 3 for that. Curiously, inXile Entertainment wanted/want to do something with Van Buren (original FO3) so who knows. Other than Obsidian developing a Vampire the Masquerade game, I’d love to see them get another shot at a Fallout game!
