Update 29 January 21:00:
The system requirements have been removed, and Blizzard has contacted us to ask us to amend this news. The system requirements below are incorrect and Blizzard posted them by mistake. StarCraft: IncGamers say it’s most likely this is a copy-paste job from old WoW requirements, and it was just reworded for SC2 in preparation for the beta. Bob Colayco of Blizzard PR told us Blizzard “will have more information about beta system requirements once the beta starts.”

StarCraft: IncGamers report on the system requirements for StarCraft II. They are surprisingly low, and it seems the StarCraft 2 team really has outdone itself in trying to make it accessible to all.
