The latest version of the gangster MMORPG, Omerta 3, will launch on 8 July, as announced by developers earlier.
The game, which has taken two years to develop, will improve on kill attempts, bringing bodyguards and a variety of guns, other weapons such as grenades, and armoured vehicles to protect against these new threats. Unlike other online games, death in Omerta is a big deal:
“One of the things that make Omerta unique is the brutality of killing in the game. If another player kills your gangster, death is permanent, unlike games like WOW where you just ‘magically come to life again’. In Omerta, players must create a new character and work his or her way through the ranks all over again” says Otto Adang, Omerta 3 product manager.Omerta 3 is a free to play MMO, find out more at the official.
