Have you been sitting at the sidelines, looking sadly at other people playing Cryptic’s free-to-play MMO Neverwinter and wishing you too were part of that crowd? Well dry your eyes Captain Weepy, because the game is now in open beta so you can sign up and get in on the D&D action like everybody else.

Open beta also means no more character wipes, so everything done in the game from now on (levelling up, profession choices and all that) will be persistent. In other words, choose wisely.

“After four successful Beta Weekends and many months of internal Alpha tests, we are thrilled to be in Open Beta,” says Cryptic’s Craig Zinkievich as he beheads an orc.
