Outcast – Second Contact gameplay video tours Adelpha

The Outcast remake (dubbed Second Contact) is due this October, and is prepping everybody for the trip with a new gameplay video. As in the original 1999 release, the six regions of the planet Adelpha will be open to you from the very start of the game.

That means plenty of places to explore, as the trailer demonstrates. It gives an overview of a few of the regions, talks a little about some of the people you’ll find there, and shows a bit of a bridge puzzle being solved. The remade graphics are looking pretty nice, but the dialogue tracks are sounding pretty rough. Perhaps developers Appeal didn’t have access to any higher quality originals.
