Outlast developer hints at a sequel

Recently I’ve started getting into horror games and when Outlast was released free to PS+ subscribers on the PS4 I decided to give it a go. Perhaps I should have started with something a little more tame because it turns out playing Outlast as your first horror game is like pushing a non swimmer into the deep end of a pool with a concrete block tied to his feet. Safe to say Outlast scared the *beep* out of me although I did manage to beat it I was a bag of nerves by the end. Now it seems there may be a round 2. Make the jump to find out more.

Head of Red Barrels, who created Outlast, Phillipe Morin hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a sequel. Whilst speaking with OPM UK he said: “It’s always been our goal to build a world in which several games could take place.” He added: “Murkoff is a busy corporation all around the world,” he continued. “We still have a lot of ideas for horror games, so we’re definitely sticking to our guns for a while longer.”
