Overwatch’s Orisa is not going live any time soon

Overwatch’s new hero Orisa has been on the PTR for a few days now and that’s where she’ll remain for a while.

Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan explained why she’s going to be tested more than other heroes we’ve seen in the past.

“Just to clarify, we’re leaving Orisa on the PTR for a little while. We’re getting great feedback and fixing a lot of issues. I know this feels a little longer than other PTR periods, but we think it will be for the better. We know how anxious you all are to have Orisa join your ranks… and she will soon… but most likely she will go live later in the month rather than this early.”

Having watched her in action a few times now, she’s quite mental and it’s not surprising they’ll be taking a little longer with this new addition. For now, just enjoy her while she’s on the PTR and be patient while they sort out any issues.
