At the Hi-Rez Expo, which is running from today, there’s a Paladins Invitational tournament taking place and Hi-Rez has announced that Season 1 will start after this event. The Expo is being streamed live over the next few days.

Although Paladins is still in open beta, Hi-Rez is forging ahead with updates and new heroes, a new “fairytale inspired castle” map called Stone keep with “added layers of verticality”, skins, and more will be coming to the game soon.

For those not attending this week’s event, there are loot packs available which include:

  • HRX Invitational 2017 Fernando Skin Collection
  • HRX Invitational 2017 Viktor Skin Collection
  • HRX Convention 2017 Ying Skin Collection
  • MVP Pose for Viktor & Fernando
  • HRX Invitational 2017 Sprays

Paladins has proved to be a hit for Hi-Rez who say there is now 5 million registered accounts. It’s a pretty solid character-based shooter.
