Paradox digs out A Game of Dwarves

Here’s one for those of you who’ve always been intrigued by the freedom of Dwarf Fortress, but put off by the ascii horror of its visual style. Or maybe for those who miss the management-style games Bullfrog used to put out.
Paradox has revealed A Game of Dwarves, developed by Zeal Game Studio (who have pedigree in this area, having also developed Dwarfs?!), which looks like it’ll put you in charge of a blossoming community of stunted fellows with their own dungeon to dig, expand and defend. Said dungeon is said to be randomly generated, so you’ll be getting a different set of problems to deal with each time you play.
The title is due for release later this year, and you can get an idea what it looks like by pointing your eyes just a little bit lower down this page.
