PC Invasion Plays Styx: Shards of Darkness

The original Styx was a decent stealth game (especially in a year with Thief 4 in it), let down by a decision to recycle levels from the halfway point. Next week (14 March), sees the release of Styx: Shards of Darkness; a sequel which aims to stay largely true to the first title, but polish the series’ rough edges.

In this video, I tackle the first (well, first proper) level in the game. Our green, snarky hero has to get himself on to an Ambassador’s airship in order to steal a scepter. Before he can even think about snagging the item, however, Styx needs to figure out how to get across town without being given an impromptu amputation by the roaming guards.
