It was a holiday here on Monday and May has already arrived at a surprisingly rapid rate. This month there are quite a few big releases which we are keeping an eye on.

This month Peter is taking a couple of weeks out for his annual holiday so we’ll be a little short staffed for those two weeks but we’ll do our best to keep things moving on the site. Games this month we have been looking at for coverage include:

  • Battleborn
  • DOOM
  • Stellaris
  • Everspace
  • Dreadnought
  • Paragon (It’s good OK!)
  • Warhammer: Total War

Every month we ask you what you would like to see so feel free to chip in with suggestions in the comments.

You may have noticed that we have significantly been trying to ramp up our giveaways and I hope you are enjoying that and taking advantage of those. It’s not always easy prying keys from developers but we’re doing our best to get some good stuff in,

As you know I have been playing Paragon and I have hooked up wth some of you in-game already. It would be good to get a pool of players to form a proper team, the matchmaking is not great right now and so some coordination in a game would be great. Feel free to add me in-game. The name is Rushster.

In other site news, we have now partnered with GamesRepublic for PC game sales. You may have seen the banner around the site. These are not really ads but another way to support the site as we actually get a small % of the sale which and everything helps. We now have our own store, which we are still working on, and you will find some deals better than Steam and it also does GOG too. We would love it if you would check the price there first.

GameRepublic is also not some sort of dodgy Steam key reseller, it is actually run by indie developer 11-Bit Studios, creators of This War of Mine and Anomaly.

As always we appreciate your feedback with the site’s direction and you can use this post through the month of May to let us know how we are doing.
