I guess this is some kind of survival horror game, then.

EA’s latest “On the House” venture is Peggle, available for free through Origin until 5 August. That’s pretty much the whole story there. If you have an Origin account, you can add Peggle to it.

If you don’t, you’ll have to sign up for one. And then maybe add Peggle to it, if you feel like it. Once 5 August rolls around, you’ll no longer be able to download the game for free – but it will stay in your account. It doesn’t vanish when the time limit for downloading it free expires or anything like that.

Previous EA freebies through Origin have included Plants vs Zombies, Dead Space and (more recently) Battlefield 3. I’d probably file this one alongside Plants vs Zombies in the “you probably already played this or own it if you were interested,” but hey, it’s still a free PC game.

You can add it to the backlog along with all those keys you got from indie bundles.
