Pillars of Eternity 2 video goes deeper into E3 gameplay footage

In this new Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire video, Obsidian’s Adam Brennecke narrates the gameplay footage from E3 to add a little more detail. If you haven’t even seen the E3 gameplay footage before, then this is also a helpful opportunity to view it.

The ten minute video follows a quest-line to the ruins of a place called Poko Kohara. As noted in the video, this could be either a faction quest or a side quest, depending on whether your party has sided with anybody. The objectives for the quest may also be different, depending on who you work for.

Throughout the course of the footage, there’s a look at some of the changes and improvements Obsidian are making to Pillars of Eternity 2. You’ll see a bit of sailing on the overworld map (plus an encounter with a plague ship), combat in deep sand and against a towering Titan, plus get a few details about UI changes and alterations to things like casting times.
