The latest Pillars of Eternity update has a few things to share, including new concept art for the title’s pantheon of gods and an in-engine image from the Twin Elms area of the game. But those were things that my eye drifted over later.

As far as I’m concerned, the main event from this project post is how terrific the character sheet from Pillars of Eternity already looks. It, like the rest of the user interface, is said to be mocked up to an “alpha level” at present, but it’s looking pretty grand nonetheless. It’s full of juicy stats, reputation levels for specific towns and areas, plus any active spell or item effects that might be present.

It’s a sight for sore eyes if you’ve been starved of Infinity Engine style presentation.

Pillars of Eternity is due for release towards the end of the year. The next update is said to focus on “a more detailed look” at some of the classes in the game.
