Pixel Crow’s 80s inspired Beat Cop delayed until 2017

Developer Pixel Crow has decided to delay the release of their retro-styled adventure Beat Cop, which is inspired by 80s cop shows, until next year.

Set in New York, you play Jack Kelly who has been framed for murder and as a lowly beat cop you have to find out why you’ve been framed. The game was originally supposed to come out in Q4 and Pixel Crow made the following announcement today.

Ddue to all the learnings we have gathered in the process of testing as well as showcasing the game we have decided to postpone the release of our title. Beat Cop is going to shine but to deliver the highest quality and enrich the overall experience – we need to invest additional time into it.

New release date is set for Spring 2017.
