Uber Entertainment are ready to finally launch the RTS and here’s the trailer to prove it.

It’s been a long time coming but Uber has decided that Planetary Annihilation  is ready for public consumption following a super lengthy Early Access period.

Planetary Annihilation was originally funded through Kickstarter and managed to raise a whopping 2.2 million which was impressive for an RTS. Following the round of funding the game eventually went to Early Access and was criticised for it’s rather expensive Early Access pricing. A single player campaign was also added back in May to beef the game up.

We looked at the game again a few months ago and it was still ropey in a few areas, performance being the main issue.

Today a launch trailer was released with the date of 5 September which is is almost exactly two years after the crowd funding concluded.

If blowing stuff up and smashing planets into each other planets appeals then take another look now it’s ready and the price is actually reasonable.
