Polk Audio Preps for Hitman with Striker Pro: Contract Edition Set

You might associate the name Polk Audio with nothing more than stereo speakers. They have had a name for years in the industry, leading their market with higher tier audio products. However, the company has most recently ventured into the gaming headset space with the Striker Pro. During E3 2015, the company announced a sleekly branded Hitman edition of the Striker Pro, being the Striker Pro: Contract Edition.

We’re thrilled to introduce a second gaming solution at E3 that’s tied to one of fall’s most highly anticipated movies and recognized video game series,” said Michael Greco, Global Brand Director for Polk. “Leveraging our deep roots in creating best-selling loudspeakers as well as our experience working with top gaming studios to develop premium audio accessories, we know that sound quality is more critical than ever for an exceptional gaming experience. We’ve developed the Striker Pro and this special headset to be the ultimate audio accessories that take users deeper into the virtual worlds of their entertainment.

Editor’s Note: The Contract Edition of the headset is modeled in-tune with the Striker Pro. On the headphone bridge on the top is where you will find the Hitman barcode and looks pretty clean given the all white set. Of course, you can’t miss the agent “47” insignia both inside and outside of the earcups.striker mic mute

The boom mic is flexible, being able to bend inward or outward. On the underside of the mic is where you can mic-mute by pushing in the indicator. The set itself is a beefier set, but as my rule of thumb, the heavier the audio equipment–the better. There are also 40mm drivers, which aligns with other sets on the market.

The Striker Pro: Contract Edition will run for $129.99 and become available in September.
