The PlayStation Store redesign will be going live across Europe today, the goal being to provide a cleaner and more intuitive interface for users to browse and buy content.

Essentially, the redesign falls in line with what Microsoft has done with the Xbox 360’s dashboard. Panels on the PS Store will display new and featured content immediately on arrival, and image quality is supposedly sharper to fall closer in the line with the “HD experience” players expect from their PS3’s.

More details on the each and every change can be found on this lengthy blog post by the EU PS blog.
