In a Stunning Gesture, Indies band together with Humble Bundle for Cancer Patient

Today we want to send a special message out to our readers, that we hope you can help spread, and donate to if you can. Writer Brandon Boyer, who has contributed to Boing Boing, Edge magazine, and Gamasutra, was saddled with a large medical bill and needs our help.

Not to dwell on this too much, but here’s the gist of it: Brandon had his liver and intestines removed to avoid the spread of cancer early last year. Unfortunately, his insurance coverage was turned down by Humana, leaving him with a huge medical bill. Brandon has no possible recourse to pay for his medical coverage than to turn to crowdfunding.
