Rage console and PC differences are ‘irrelevant’

All versions feature the exact same set of assets.
Those of you worried that your preferred platform will see a dodgy version of Rage have nothing to worry about, according to id Software’s Tim Willits.
IncGamers asked Mr Willits whether the console and PC versions were the same:

“Yes, they’re the same. On the PC you can turn up the resolution and you can run 4x anti-aliasing but the assets are all the same. It takes longer to stream everything off of the consoles but that’s irrelevant when you look at the big picture.”
We’ll have to wait until review time to test whether a higher resolution and 4x anti-aliasing are “irrelevant in the big picture”…
