Despite being set to launch originally in February as a system exclusive for the Wii-U, Rayman Legends now has a new release date of August 30th where it will launch for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii-U.

There had been speculation recently that the game may have run into development issues, however Ubisoft denied the rumors stating that:

“There are no issues with the game development. The only reason for the delay is to release on multiple platforms.” – Ubisoft Rep

Despite recent rumors that the game may also be coming to the PS Vita, there’s still not been any confirmation or denial from Ubisoft’s end. Given that the release date has finally been announced though it’s unlikely that we will see a PS Vita version unless it may be intended to launch after it hits the home consoles.
