Realmforge goes Dark with vampire stealth RPG

When you announce a vampire-based game featuring stealthy gameplay and RPG-like special powers, most people’s minds are going to head towards Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. Consequently, I hope Realmforge know what kind of expectations they’re drawing by announcing Dark.
Coming to PC and Xbox 360, Dark makes bold promises about being “a stealth action game with RPG elements that lets you slip into the role of the ultimate killer… a vampire.” Your blood-craving protagonist is trying to unravel the mystery behind an all-powerful global conglomerate through locations like “castles, museums, skyscrapers [and] nightclubs”.
My hopeful side thinks ‘maybe they love Bloodlines and want to make something just as fantastic’, while my pessimistic side thinks ‘the combat in Bloodlines was a bit nob’. We’ll find out early next year when Dark is released.
