Red Dead Online gets new clothing, like sandals for your cowboy

Everyone knows cowboys were fashion-conscious.
Red Dead Online Moonshiners

Red Dead Online‘s Moonshiners update released last month, which brought new characters, missions, and a new Frontier Pursuit: moonshining. The game got another content drop this week with the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue, which offers a wide variety of clothing to players, and a new Free Aim Series. Also, there are a lot of in-game bonuses for the Moonshining profession.

Cowboy sandals and Free Aim

The new items going on sale in Red Dead Online include several permanent additions, such as the Rivera Hooded Tunic, McCrum Pants, and Pico Sandals. I can’t imagine getting into a shoot-out in sandals, but crazier things have happened. The Boutell Hat and Leavitt Jacket are also up for sale, but they are limited-time options, so make sure to grab them quick.

This week’s Free Aim Series features all of the Capture game-modes, such as Hostile Territory, Overrun, Plunder, Spoilers of War, and Up in Smoke. What’s Free Aim? Exactly what it sounds like. No aim assist. So get in there and show off your reflexes! Or just get riddled with bullets, like I usually do.

Red Dead Online discounts

If you’ve managed to reach Moonshiner Rank 3 before January 13, then you will receive an exclusive set of boots. Just visit the Benefits section to nab them. If you sell any batch of medium-strength moonshine this week, you’ll also receive a 30% discount on any Norfolk Roadster Horse.

If you’ve yet to start up your moonshining business, don’t worry. There are discounts for you too. There is currently a 25% discount on all Moonshiner Shack properties. Plus, if you are following the Trader profession, you can get 40% items such as the Stew Pot and Medium Delivery Wagon. Moonshining is part of the Trader Frontier Pursuit in Red Dead Online, so you can take advantage of both. That’s a lot to keep up with. However, if you’ve played Red Dead Online, you’re at least passingly familiar with its complicated systems.
