Red Faction: Origins Coming to TV Next March

THQ and and Syfi has announced a special two hour pilot movie entitled Red Faction: Origins which will air March 2011 on Syfi. 
The Red Faction: Origins screenplay has been written by writer and producer Andrew Kreisberg (Warehouse 13, Fringe, Vampire Diaries and Boston Legal) and is based on a story by Paul DeMeo (The Rocketeer, Flash, Viper, The Sentinel). 
The movie’s story timeline falls between Red Faction: Guerrilla and the upcoming Red Faction: Armageddon and follows the story of the hero Alec Mason and the Mason family.
Syfy & Co-head of Universal Cable Production added, “This groundbreaking deal with THQ reflects our desire to deliver a completely immersive and enhanced viewing experience for the audience. We are excited to be working with the creative team at THQ in extending the vibrant world of Red Faction to our air”.
Syfy can turn out some great shows, Battlestar Galactica being the most notable, so let’s hope they get this right.
