The Sixth title in Polyphony’s racing sim appears to be heading to current gen
For a number of years now we have known that Gran Turismo 6 is in development, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed this when speaking with Autoweek in 2010, but nothing has been talked about since.
However a recent listing made by Electronic Specialist retailer Newegg has appeared for the game which apparently is going to be released for the PS3, as opposed to the recently announced PS4 which is due out this year.
It seems to add further evidence to which platform the racer will land on after Sony Executive Michael Denny said that the game will indeed come to the PS3 in 2013
The listing has little to no information regarding the game, other than to say that the product has been “discontinued”.
