RIFT Goes Open Beta

Trion has announced that the final beta test for their upcoming MMORPG RIFT will be an Open Beta. The news follows a successful stress test during the closed beta this past weekend.
The next test is scheduled to launch on 15 February at 6PM GMT and will run until 21 February. The early start programme will also begin on 24 February for those who pre-ordered the game. The game will finally launch fully at retail on 4 March.
So far we have been super-impressed with RIFT since the Beta started back in December so if you’ve not had a chance to try the game we suggest you give this a look during the open Beta. You can also find out more about the game on RIFT: IncGamers.
On February 15th Trion will lift the veil on their upcoming MMORPG Rift™ with a six-day open beta event, giving all would-be Defiants and Guardians the opportunity to preview the epic world of Telara before the game launches worldwide on March 1st. Servers are scheduled to be open from 7:00 AM PST on Tuesday, February 15th to 7:00 AM PST on Monday, February 21st, giving users a taste of Telara, including two playable factions, the first 42 levels of play, three PvP warfronts, and several zones and dungeons to explore.
Sign up now at www.riftgame.com/betasignup for a guaranteed spot in the “Telara the Merciless” beta event, and secure your spot in the Rift head start period (February 24-March 1) by pre-ordering the game now at https://www.riftgame.com/preorder.
