Rift: Planes Of Telara – Abyssal Precipice Details

Trion has released details of another zone in the upcoming MMO, Rift: Planes of Telara.
This time, we’re getting a look at the Abyssal Precipice, an instance set high in the snow-swept mountains of Telara. A set of pesky cultists named the Abyssal plan to wake a cephalon – loyal advisor to the imprisoned and somewhat unhinged water dragon, Akylios. It is rather in the interests of the realm not to let this occur.
But both the Guardians and Defiant have ulterior motives for preventing the Abyssal from achieving their goals. The Defiant seek the knowledge held inside a dark book of spells the Abyssal plan to use in their ceremonies, while the Guardians want the cursed literature destroyed. In addition, the Guardians seek pilgrimage to the holy sword of Thedeor, rumoured to be located on one of the cliffs.
