Riot Games Fines League of Legends eSports Team After Harrassing Former Player

No angels come out of this situation, as Riot Games hands out fines to League of Legends eSports team Meet Your Maker after an incident involving one of their players, Marcin “Kori” Wolski.

Wolski alleged that his former team withheld payments for playing in 2014. Riot independently confirmed that those payments were actually due from another team, Supa Hot Crew. Furthermore, by playing with Supa Hot, Wolski reneged on his contract with MYM.

However, MYM team manager Sebastian “Falli” Rotterdam went on to intimidate Wolski, threatening legal action to force Wolski’s mother out of her home.

Riot decided to fine the team €5,000, but in deference to the team’s players who were not involved in the conflict, they did not suspend the team. Rotterdam has been indefinitely banned from competition in any capacity, and of course is no longer with the team.
