It was a fresh take on the roguelike genre, where your heirs would inherit the strengths of their predecessor, getting stronger with each generation. This new installment is far more ambitious than the original. The team at Cellar Door Games is several times bigger, resulting in Rogue Legacy 2 offering a much more robust experience.
