Ronnie O’Sullivan To Front And Appear In Console Snooker Game

Snooker ace Ronnie O’Sullivan has been signed up to front and appear in World Snooker Championship 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Due for a quarter two release, the title, developed and published by Dark Energy Sports, is being handled by Koch Media in the UK.
O’Sullivan will be the cover star and help market the game ahead of release. The three-times World Champion will also appear in-game, the publisher confirmed.
A Koch statement read: “WSC Real 2011 is shaping up to be the most realistic WSC experience yet seen on home console and PC.
“Featuring real players, real venues and real tournaments, WSC Real 2011 also brings gamers closer to the green baize than ever before, with the latest iteration including full online multiplayer so that snooker fans can compete against one another around the globe.”
Unique features of the game include the ability to rewind matches to view the best and worst shots, and it will offer a slow motion mode for retaking shots. The title also includes all the official 2010/2011 snooker tournaments and players.
