Rooney Forced To Change Gamertag

Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney has revealed he was forced to change his Xbox LIVE Gamertag after being discovered by other users.

“My Gamertag name used to be Wazza10 but I had to change it when too many people found out it really was me,” Rooney told The Metro (thanks CVG).

“I still play FIFA regularly online though,” he was careful to add once he remembered his ugly mug is on the box art.

Now we don’t want to patronise the prematurely-balding one but, if you’re hoping to remain incognito, wouldn’t it be wise to choose a screen name that doesn’t incorporate your nickname? We’re just saying…
