A spiritual successor to Syndicate has been a long time coming but it’s almost here.

This is a quick reminder that tomorrow. 11 December, the rather cool looking Satellite Reign will launch on Steam Early Access. All backers of the project and Humble Store pre-orders will be able to access the game on Steam when it launches and should have Steam keys.

The game was Kickstarted in 2013 and the funding concluded on 29 July last year raising £461,333 with the team only looking for £350,000, Since then developer 5 Lives has released a few videos of the game in action and it’s looking very sweet.

There’s many PC gamers that probably don’t remember the original Syndicate from Bullfrog but it was an absolute classic and Satellite Reign really does look like it will bring back some of that Syndicate magic. Well, we hope that it does.

You can find out more about the game over on the Steam page, and if you were a fan of Syndicate do check this out. If you have no idea what Syndicate was then also take a look at the game.

We’re not exactly sure when Early Access will be live as they only state 11 December US time so Europeans may have to wait until the morning ot late afternoon for it to go live.
